Community Support
- The Food Bank receives outstanding support from citizens
volunteering and supporting food drives.
- The city of Lake Stevens supports our efforts in various
ways.
- Community service clubs and organizations help with monetary
donations and thousands of pounds of food.
- Our district schools provide outstanding annual food drives
and donate leftover lunch food during the year.
- Our churches support the food bank with food drives and
offerings.
- Several of our community’s businesses have food drives
annually.
- The Food Bank receives government commodities and other
miscellaneous food supplies from Volunteers of America, the lead
agency for Snohomish County Food Banks.
- Food is gleaned from Safeway, Haggen and Starbucks weekly.
- Food items are purchased from local businesses with your
monetary donations.
It takes all of the above to supply the needs in our
community.
Thank you, community, for your help.

“There is no shame in hunger. There
is shame in
knowing about hunger and doing nothing about it.”
Philanthropist,
A.S. Feinstein
"For I was hungry and you gave me
something to eat,
I was thirsty
and you gave
me something
to drink..."
Matthew 25:35 |
