Hey all!
We had three food drives for the month that brought in $2,151.93 and 1,841 pounds of food.
Up 5.6% from March, we served 4,035 individuals in 1,514 families. The number served is up 3% from March 2022.
We received 80,257 pounds of food through donations, government commodities, grocery store food rescue, food drives and purchases. 81,003 pounds of food were served for the month.
99 volunteers donated 761 hours of service valued at $12,701.09. As noted last month, SNAP/EBT benefits have been reduced as of March 1st. We are seeing a trend that our numbers greatly increase later in the month. Every one of our distributions saw a huge increase in the last two weeks of March.
Respectfully submitted,
Anthony Hawley
